Wisdom teeth are third molars that erupt between the age of 17 to 25 - they are often impacted (growing sideways) and may cause pain and infection, sometimes even affecting the adjacent teeth. 

There are different modes of removal - such as an extraction, surgical excision, etc

The fees for lower wisdom teeth surgeries (including consultation, x-rays, medications and reviews) can be claimed fully from your Medisave, up to $1250 NETT.
